Damac Hills 2, formerly Akoya before becoming Akoya Oxygen, is a new residential development by Damac Properties. It is located in the desert of south Dubailand, approximately 40 minutes from the city center.
The Akoya community project was relaunched as ‘Damac Hills 2’ in June 2021, and a revised master plan with a stronger focus on leisure amenities was revealed, summed up by the new motto “More water, more sports, more fun.”
Many residential units have been finished to date, but a considerable number of recreational areas and facilities have still to be created.
Damac Hills, which spans 42 million square feet, is home to a variety of mixed-use projects.
The masterplan, which was released in June 2021, features five leisure “towns”:
- Water City,
- Sporting Town,
- In the downtown area,
- Equestrian Village and
- Motor City.
Villa types:
There are several different types of villas available, ranging from three to six bedrooms.
Oleander, Celosia, Rivina, Aknan, Aurum, Biela, Cuatro, Hajar, Imagine, Mod Townhouses, Bugatti Villas, Just Cavalli Villas, and Uno Premier Villas are just a few examples.
The villa kinds are distributed among the several sub-communities, each of which is named after a plant species.
