This 110-acre financial sector, located between the Burj Khalifa and the Emirates Towers, is divided into three business, retail, and residential zones. A shopping corridor connects all three. The DIFC Authority developed it. Approximately 30% of the land here is designated for high-rise residential buildings. DIFC is the pinnacle of city living. In January 2019, it was reported that DIFC would be extended with the addition of 13 million square feet of space, dubbed DIFC 2.0.

Furthermore, owing to its accessible location, accessibility, and general ambiance of a contemporary lifestyle, living in DIFC is especially practical for working professionals. There is a diverse range of apartments available, ranging from studios to 3-bedroom flats, as well as some 4 to 5-bedroom luxury penthouse suites. Commercial buildings on the market include specialized skyscrapers and complexes as well as mixed-use projects.

Highway Access:

To commute, residents make use of the good road and rail connections. Sheik Zayed Road, Dubai’s major thoroughfare, runs beside DIFC.

Hummingbird Pre-School is located in this neighborhood. For parents seeking for a school in DIFC, Babilou MENA is another alternative. Hartland International School in MBR City and Horizontal International School in Umm Al Sheif are two more local schools. Brighter Prep, the IE Centre, and the London Business School Dubai Centre are among educational institutes that provide particular courses.

DIFC Clinics and Hospitals:

IMC Medical Centre, La Clinique DIFC, and The Clinic are the nearest ones. Interhealth Canada Limited and Al Zahra Medical Centre are both less than a 15-minute drive away. Oriana Hospital is also only around 20 minutes away.

Advantages of living in DIFC:

  • One can reside close to their place of employment.
  • A metro station and a bus stop are nearby.
  • There are plenty of parking places available here.

 

The disadvantages of residing in the DIFC are as follows:
  • There are no parks or beaches nearby.
  • Congested roadways and heavy traffic.
