Mirdif is a northeast Dubai residential neighbourhood around 10 kilometers from Deira City Centre and close to Dubai International Airport. Al Mizhar is located to the north, while Al Warqa is located to the south. The Al Mushrif public park is located on Mirdif’s eastern outskirts. Mirdif’s properties are mostly villas.

There are three gated communities in the area:

  • Mirdif in the Uptown Area
  • Shorooq
  • Ghoroob

 

Mirdif is a distinct community created for the requirements of its people because it is not a tourist destination. In fact, it is one of Dubai’s few neighbourhoods without a hotel. Mirdif is home to one of Dubai’s top parks. Mushrif Park is a major attraction in the neighborhood.

Highway Access:

Mirdif is readily reached through Emirates Road and Al Awir Road.

Landmarks in the Neighborhood:
  • Burj Al Arab is 33 minutes away by car.
  • Dubai Mall is 22 minutes away by car.
  • Palm Jumeirah is 34 minutes away, while The Walk JBR is 37 minutes away.
  • Al Maktoum International Airport is 49 minutes away by car.
  • The Mall of the Emirates is about a 29-minute drive away.
  • Ibn Battuta Mall is 38 minutes away by car.
  • Dubai International Airport is a 20-minute drive away.
  • Meraas is a 30-minute drive from La Mer.

 

Mirdif has the following schools:

GEMS Royal Dubai School, Emirates British Nursery, Small Steps Nursery, Super Kids Nursery, and Learning Land Nursery are among the nearby institutions, as are Mirdif Private School, Uptown School, Dar Al Marefa, and Star International School.

Mirdif Clinics and Hospitals:

Mirdif has Medcare Medical Centres and a Mediclinic hospital that are easily accessible from most areas of the neighborhood. Mirdif has a plethora of clinics and pharmacies.

Advantages of living in Mirdif:
  • It is a low-cost neighborhood.
  • Close proximity to schools
  • It is a pet-friendly neighborhood.
  • There are several shopping establishments, restaurants, and other attractions.
  • There are several green areas and parks in this neighbourhood.

 

The disadvantages of living in Mirdif are as follows:
  • It is mostly non-freehold land.
  • This neighbourhood does not have access to the Dubai Metro.
