The complete guide to salary certificate attestation in the UAE

salary certificate attestation in Dubai

For a number of reasons, residents of the UAE may need to have their salary certificates attested. For instance, citizens may require it when submitting loan applications, tax returns, or even mortgage applications in their home nation. Recently, the UAE government adopted a number of initiatives to speed up the attestation procedures. We’ve created this tutorial, which covers the numerous components of pay certificate attestation in the UAE, keeping in mind the whole procedure.

IN THE UAE, HOW CAN I GET A SALARY CERTIFICATE ATTESTED?

A pay certificate provided by your company’s human resources department will normally include comprehensive data regarding your income, classification, tasks, and precise dates of employment, among other pertinent information. While a pay certificate is sometimes sufficient proof on its own, in certain cases you may be asked to present a fully authenticated version of your wage certificate.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in charge of salary certificate attestation in Dubai and all other emirates (MoFAIC). You have the option of applying in person or online.

SALARY CERTIFICATE ATTESTATION APPLICATION

If you choose to submit your income certificate for MoFAIC attestation through the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, you must do the following:

  • Log in using your UAE Pass.
  • Select Individual from the “Individual or Companies” drop-down menu.
  • “Attestation of Official Documents, Certificates, and Commercial Invoices” will appear.
  • To proceed, click the “Start Service” button.
  • Choose the appropriate courier service and attestation authority. You may either email the paperwork for wage certification attestation or make an appointment to visit the Happiness Centre.
  • Enter details about the document you want to certify, such as a pay certificate.
  • Fill in the courier information, such as pick-up and drop-off locations (if applicable).
  • Make your payment.

You can also obtain certificate attestation using the MoFAIC’s Smart Mobile App or by visiting a Customer Happiness Centre (appointment not required).

COMPANIES IN THE UAE THAT PROVIDE SALARY CERTIFICATE ATTESTATION

If you are unclear about the attestation procedure or do not have the time to conduct it yourself, there are several companies in the UAE that will do the legwork for you. You will, however, be charged a modest cost for their services, which is greater than the regular government price. Power Index Document Clearing Services, SG IVS Global, and HHS Lawyers are just three of the many companies in the UAE that provide wage certificate attestation services.
