ALL ABOUT THE UAE JOB SEEKER VISA
Many new immigration laws for the UAE were announced in April 2022 and went into force on October 4th, 2022. These modifications have been one of the most significant changes in immigration policy in years. In addition, the country’s job market is fast expanding in the aftermath of the epidemic. This is why the UAE government chose to recruit young talent from all around the world to meet this need.
The good news is that a sponsor or host is not required for a single-entry visa for job seekers. You can apply for a visa for 60, 90, or 120 days.
CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY FOR UAE JOB SEEKER VISA
Applicants must be classified in the first, second, or third skill level as defined by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and have graduated from one of the top 500 universities in the world (as determined by the Ministry of Education).
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or above and provide the required financial guarantee.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR A VISA?
Applications can be made on the website of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs in Dubai. Visit the website, make an account, and then choose the service to which you want to send your application, including all required papers and payments.
If you are already in the UAE on another visa, you can apply at an Amer centre.
HOW MUCH IS THE APPLICATION FEE?
The following are the visa fees for job seekers in the UAE:
- 60-day visa fee: AED 200
- 90-day visa fee: AED 300
- 120-day visa fee: AED 400
According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP), the above-mentioned visa price does not include:
- AED 1,000 is required as a refundable security deposit.
- Warranty servicing is AED 20.
- AED 40 for guarantee collection and return.
