The individual or business who sponsored you may terminate your residence visa. If you have an investor visa, you can begin the application process on your own.
HOW CAN A COMPANY APPLY FOR A RESIDENCE VISA CANCELLATION IN THE UAE?
If your sponsor is a company, they must first apply to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to terminate your labor card and contract (MOHRE). This application requires your signature. They can request for visa cancellation to the Federal Authority for Proof of identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) once they receive an answer from MOHRE.
Your employer must also terminate your work permit. This, however, cannot be done without a document signed by you saying that you have collected your dues, gratuity, repatriation fees, and other perks agreed upon between you and your employer.
CANCELLATION OF RESIDENCE VISA IN THE UAE
DUBAI GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF RESIDENCY AND FOREIGN AFFAIRS
If your organization applies for the cancellation of these documents, you will obtain a clearance statement that will assist you in generating a visa cancellation request at GDRFA (The General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs).
GDRFA offers two options for applying for a visa cancellation procedure in Dubai. You may either go to their authorized typing center or do it online through their official website.
